3D-Blitz 1/72 Pilatus PC-21 Plastic Model Kit

This kit is a brand-new mold! The PC-21 is a single-engine turboprop advanced trainer manufactured by Pilatus in Switzerland. Development of the PC-21 began in 1999, with a focus on performance that surpass4ed that of other turboprop trainers at the time, a cost-effective integrated training system, and low operating costs. Equipped with a high-power PT6A-68B engine and five-wing blades to enable high-speed and high-mobility flight, the PC-21 has a maximum speed of 685km, covering the training speed range often used in jet fighters. The automatic correction function to prevent the influence of propeller torque enables training similar to that of a jet trainer, such as making the maneuverability closer to that of a jet aircraft. In addition, the functions of the cockpit display, etc., are almost the same as those of the F/A-18, and it is easy to switch models, proving that one model can handle the training course that was previously done with multiple types of training aircraft. The PC-21, which first flew in 2002, was deployed to the Swiss Air Force in 2008, and has since been operated by Singapore, France, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and the Royal Air Force.
