A dramatically reproduced WWII P-38, "Glacier Girl" was abandoned on a glacier in Greenland for nearly 60 years and entombed under hundreds of feet of snow and ice. It was recovered in 1992 and restored to mint condition over the following 10 years. She was one of the most popular attractions at this year's Sun 'n Fun, according to Ed White of Lakeland, an aviation electrician that helped restore her.
