Academy 1/72 ROKAF KF-21 "Boramae" Plastic Model Kit
This 1/72-scale model kit of the KF-21 Boramae from Academy is a completely new mold! The snap-fit kit precisely reproduces the Boramae's form with stealth characteristics in mind. It can be assembled in flight, or parked; it comes with a variety of weapon parts, stickers for flight test units 1 through 4, and a stand for in-flight display.
The ROKAF KF-21 Boramae (Fighting Hawk) is a joint venture between South Korea and Indonesia to produce a domestic multi-role fighter. The KF-21 incorporates more stealth characteristics than a 4th-generation fighter but lacks the internal weapons bays to classify it as 5th-generation. The KF-21 first flew in July 2022 and it is intended to replace the F-4s and F-5s currently being used by South Korea and Indonesia. This 1/72 scale model from Academy measures 23.5cm when complete.
