AFV Club 1/35 M18 Hellcat Tank Destroyer Plastic Model Kit

The M18 Tank Destroyer marks one of the milestones of technological innovation in US tank history, with its high power/weight ratio engine, automatic transmission, torsion bar suspension and track link with center guide. These features ultimately became the standard for post-war tanks. AFV Club's tooling skills have increased dramatically and it really shows in this kit. As a model of an open-topped vehicle, this kit is exceptional, with a thoroughly-detailed turret interior, and hull combat compartment visible from the top. Care is required when cutting fine parts from the sprues. The lathed aluminum gun barrel can be recoiled with a coil spring (included). Tracks are the rubber belt type. Eight sets of decals for various markings are provided.
