Dragon brings us this 1/35 scale reproduction of a military freight car operated by the German Army in World War II!

It goes without saying that railroads were used in a variety of ways as a means of transportation to maintain the battle lines in World War II. Freight wagons of various sizes and shapes were produced in large numbers and were used to transport supplies and troops. On the other hand, partisans and allied forces resisting the Germans cut off the supply of German troops by cutting off the railroad network. Armored locomotives were also introduced, and freight cars were equipped with anti-aircraft machine guns and other countermeasures. Many of these freight cars remained in use on German railroads long after the war.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that models the German military railroad wagons that were produced in large numbers during World War II and were used to transport goods.

The model reproduces the type of two-axle uncovered freight wagons that were produced in large quantities at the time, equipped with 1.5m high side walls.

The wooden sidewall panels represent the grain of the wood.

The frame and door parts are also reproduced in separate parts for a realistic finish.

The frame, leaf spring suspension and brake system of the carriage are also modeled in detail.

Two German soldiers holding anti-aircraft machine guns are also modeled on the cargo bed of the uncovered freight car.
